  Opening On the day of the ceremony, relevant leaders from cultural and publicity departments at all levels in Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, Panyu District, China Performing Arts Equipment Technology Association, China Stage Art Association, Guangdong Performing Arts Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong Stage Art Research Association, Guangdong Zhongnan Sound Image Leaders and representatives of industry associations, societies, and universities, such as the Lighting Design and Research Institute, the Chinese Academy of Opera, the Central Academy of Drama, the Shanghai Theater Academy, South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Technology, and Guangzhou University attended the opening ceremony. In addition, more than 300 well-known lighting designers, stage designers, artists, experts, teachers, scholars and foreign practitioners at home and abroad witnessed the opening ceremony of the International Lighting Museum.
The world’s first and only professional lighting museum with the theme of Western professional lighting history was created by Israeli stage lighting designer Dan • Ridler. After learning about Jiang Weikai’s vision of “combining Western theater stage lighting history with Chinese culture”, Dan • Redler believed that China’s development trends and cultural accumulation could carry forward the International Lighting Museum, and he wanted to make the museum The idea of ​​promoting from Israel to other countries coincided. In the end, the two parties reached a consensus to relocate the world's first lighting museum created by Dan • Reidler to China, and jointly create the world's first fusion of Chinese and Western lighting development history and China. The International Lighting Museum of Culture.
After more than 3 years of hard work, the original collection of more than 200 items in the International Lighting Museum has all been moved to Guangzhou and settled in the newly built international museum. Stage lighting began in the Renaissance period. In the International Pavilion of the museum, you can see the stage lighting equipment that has been used since that period, the earliest books recording theater development and stage lighting, and Dan • Redler more than forty In the past few years, we have collected samples of lamps, technical materials, books and models from different historical periods and different stages of the world's lighting development. In the China Pavilion, there are already dozens of representative and historical exhibits donated by lighting collectors and experts.
Zhu Xincun delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the International Lighting Museum. First of all, he believes that Jiang Weikai and Dan's "Ridler's vision" should be given a big praise for the establishment of the International Lighting Museum in Guangzhou. The completion of the International Lighting Museum also marks that practitioners in my country's stage lighting industry pay more attention to the inheritance and development of culture. This is a milestone event for China's stage lighting industry. Secondly, the construction and development of the Lighting Museum should adhere to an understanding—internationalization. Only by focusing on internationalization can the role of the International Lighting Museum be more fully utilized. Thirdly, a suggestion for the collection work of the Lighting Museum —— both international and domestic. Continue to collect relevant collections of historical significance from abroad, and at the same time increase efforts to collect collections at home, so that the collections of the International Lighting Museum can reflect the characteristics of Chinese culture.
Shanghai Theater Academy professor Jin Changlie delivered a speech on the theme of "Free Space for Creating Stage Lighting". In his speech, he congratulated the opening of the International Lighting Museum, and proposed that he should care about the construction of the museum, cherish the museum's collections, and use the museum to study the development history of the world's stage lighting.
